We really good spend 1 night in Grindavik. The most important was the staff - excellant and attentive people. The location was nice, close to airport!

Neat and functional units with TV, separated beds, for example, and the staff were friendly! A bath and guest toiletries were available there.

The most amicable and excellent staff I ever met. The location was best possible, at a walking distance from Vikur Hestar. You could walk to supermarkets and shops.

The accommodation is in a beautiful location and rather close to the airport, which is convenient. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The heating system was efficient and kept the room warm. There was also a functional kitchen. However, it was disappointing that the staff members were absent at the time of our stay.
The guesthouse lacked a staff member's presence which was confusing and frustrating at times.

the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful natural wonders of the country, with easy access to various attractions, including the mesmerizing blue lagoon. the room was spacious and well-equipped, with everything we needed to prepare our own meals. the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing.
One aspect to be aware of is the self-service nature of the guesthouse, which may not suit everyone's preferences.

Despite a minor issue with parking, our stay at Mar Guesthouse was excellent. The self-service check-in/out process was efficient, and the room was clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was never crowded, and we never had to wait for it. I highly recommend this hotel for a hassle-free stay.

We stayed at Mar Guesthouse for one night on the Reykjanes Peninsula. It was the roomiest and best organized place we stayed at out of ten locations. The wonderful closet space, kitchen table, and sofa area were lost on us staying only one night. The Pincode system made check-in and check-out very easy. The apartment was well cleaned, had a kitchenette, strong wifi, and a hot shower. a great experience and I would book again!
Would recommend this hotel.
